SHEET S-04 — NOTES

QUESTIONS

Asked before, answered plainly.

The questions established firms ask before requesting access — kept short, kept honest.

What is Lode?

Lode connects the office work behind a landscape firm. It brings enquiries, job notes and client decisions into context, prepares the next step for review, and keeps approved work traceable.

Is it a CRM or project-management tool?

Lode is an operating layer around the job context. A CRM or project-management tool may remain useful for your firm; the walkthrough confirms how Lode fits with the records and tools you choose to connect.

What does a private walkthrough cover?

We use a worked fictional landscape scenario with an enquiry, job notes, a rain change and a client decision. Bring one real office question, and we will confirm the current scope and review boundary for your setup.

Does anything go out without my approval?

Client-facing and financially meaningful decisions stay with a human review step. The firm decides what is approved and what leaves its name; the walkthrough makes the available scope clear.

What happens when records disagree?

The useful behaviour is to keep the disagreement visible. Lode is designed to relate customers, sites, projects and documents while leaving a person to reconcile a conflict before a next step is approved.

Will this fit a UK, US or Australian firm?

Bring the language and office questions your firm uses, and confirm the current scope in the walkthrough. Regional tax, integration and availability support should be checked for the setup rather than assumed.

What happens to the records we connect?

Your firm should confirm its record, access and export requirements in writing before onboarding. The walkthrough is the place to ask which sources and approved records are in scope for your setup.

What does it cost?

Pricing and scope are confirmed in writing before onboarding. Use the walkthrough to ask what is available for your firm and what the next step would involve.

Still deciding?
